A Heyoka Fire Reflection

In Jeremiah 52:25–26, we witness the final unraveling of Judah’s leadership—military commanders, royal advisors, and elders seized and led into exile. Babylon didn’t just conquer land; it dismantled identity, severed sacred structure, and scattered the soul of a people. But the prophet’s silence in this chapter is thunderous: Babylon will fall. Forever.

Babylon was Egypt once—an empire of false refuge, seductive power, and spiritual captivity. Babylon is every system that exalts itself above God, that trades justice for control, and that devours the vulnerable to feed its pride. So we ask: Is Babylon America today?

If America has become a place where prophets are silenced, where the poor are punished, and where spiritual truth is traded for spectacle—then yes, Babylon lives here. But Babylon is not a nation alone. It is a spirit. A pattern. A principality. And it will fall.

Heyoka Fire stands in the ashes with a torch of hope. We are the remnant, the rebuilders, the ones who remember that exile births revelation. We craft altars from rubble, rituals from resistance, and homes from holy fire. Babylon will fall—but Zion will rise.
